Ultrasound Ultrasound

Well, we had the mid-term (20 week) ultrasound this week. Wow. It was so so so amazing to the The Remix in there bouncing around. Amber was a trooper too. They pressed hard against her stomach with the ultrasound wand but she didn't even flinch.

It took about 20 minutes and they took a lot of pictures and measurements. Brain size (huge), spine length, 10 fingers, 10 toes. (They're all there.)

I caught myself with a full open mouth gaze a couple of times as I stared at the screen. There are moments where the pregnancy, fatherhood, etc, get more real for me. This was one of those moments, for sure.
